In addition, the area surrounding Provença station offers a comprehensive range of services of all kinds, from restaurants and shops to transportation and car parks. It is also close to many of the most important leisure and tourist attractions that Barcelona has to offer.

Visibility and market impact

Provença station receives almost 9 million passengers a year who come to travel on the 6 main FGC railway lines. These lines are both urban and suburban in nature, and connect important centres such as Terrassa, Sabadell, Sant Cugat and others.

At the same time, Provença is an important point of connection with the Barcelona Metro. The L3 and L5 Metro lines are accessible by way of the FGC station’s main hall.

Students and academic staff are well represented at Provença station. This is due to the proximity of Pompeu Fabra University to the station, and also to the fact that the station connects Plaça Catalunya with the Autonomous University of Barcelona via the FGC train line, S55.
